Finance Flower

Just wanted to share...

We had to teach on Finances in the Marriage & Family Class in our ward and I found this cute idea.  And I love finances so I was looking forward to studying the lesson... no this is not an April Fools joke I really do love budgeting.  So with the help of my mom we made them and I think they turned out great!  I was also thinking this would be a great visual for FHE when teaching kids about money or even a cute baby/bridal shower gift - of course you could do 5's, 10's, etc. instead of the 1's I used.  

Here is a quote that I found that I used in the lesson.  

"Flowers always make people better, happier and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine to the soul."

I related how this is also true with proper financial management - our marriages will be better, happier and more helpful and it will literally bring sunshine, food and medicine to our souls.

(They did look better before I had to take them outside in the blizzard that hit Sunday morning - but you get the idea!)
