We had a full and fun October! We felt so blessed to have fabulous weather to enjoy so much time outside.
Isabelle went on her first field trip this year to the Pumpkin Patch. She was glued to her teacher but had much more fun this year than last year!

Over fall break I took the kids with some friends to Hee Haw Farms. Ty enjoyed the blow up haunted house and the corn maze but he was a little too old for anything else and was kind of bored. Isabelle had fun looking at the animals, swinging on the horse tire swing and having her
friends with her.
These are 2 of Ty's best friends... we sure love these boys!
On Friday of Fall Break Chad took the day off and we went to Airborne. Pictures were hard to take while the kids were jumping. Everyone had LOTS of fun even Vivienne who just wanted Chad to hold her and jump! Isabelle was very into "jump dancing" to the music - she was so serious!
A few weekends ago we went down to Payson for a fundraiser fall carnival. It wasn't exactly what we expected but it was something different for us to enjoy together and benefited someone in need. They had train rides, blow up toys, a hay maze and pony rides.

Gotta love Isabelle sliding down!
We had our own family halloween party on Saturday the 29th. I had good intentions of inviting friends over but the day turned out to be crazy with Chad helping a family in our ward move until 3:00 and I wasn't feeling too well. We enjoy being together as a family so it turned out to be perfect for us! We had yummy food - jack o lantern pizzas, mummy dogs, queso dip, veggies and lil smokies. After eating we played and carved our pumpkins. This year Isabelle had a Snow White pumpkin to complete her costume, Ty had bYu and Isabelle painted Vivienne's pumpkin for her.

Friday, Oct 28th we had our ward Trunk or Treat and Chili cook off. Ty loved being able to go with his friends by himself. Isabelle was glued to me the whole time even sometimes telling me "NO!" to getting candy from any men or scary looking people - she didn't care that she wouldmiss out on a piece of candy.
On Halloween we stopped by my Grandma's house to trick or treat. She loaded the kids up with fun stuff she made. A few weeks earlier the kids had made candy bags for her to hand out and they were happy to pick one out. After visiting for a while we went to Chad's parents house. I made chili and breadsticks to eat with them. We left Vivienne and took Ty and Isabelle out trick or treating to their neighborhood. The kids had so much fun and were super excited when they received full size candybars... and Chad was as well! Total count - Isabelle 10 & Ty 11 full size candybars! Our Halloween was enjoyed with no coats, lots of candy, lots of walking and big smiles!

Jango Fett, Tinkerbell and Snow White
Super fun! We find ourselves spending much more time as a family and less with friends lately...and I'm enjoying that. I know it won't be long before the kids will want to be off doing their own things!
ReplyDeleteEveryone looks super cute, but oh my...Isabelle looks so old! And Vivienne looks so gorgeous!! Miss you guys.
