**With a newborn and less personal time - I am catching up on our blog so my posts are in random order.***

One of my least favorite aspects of pregnancy is the recovery. It's difficult to be "lazy" when you have kids, a husband, a home and of course a newborn to take care of. I feel amazingly blessed that I have a unselfish mom who came and spent 6 days filling in for me which allowed me to do very little of my normal daily tasks. She left St. George at 5:30 in the morning on Thursday, Sept 23rd when I went into labor to come pick up our kids from my amazing friend and neighbor Tiff who stayed with our kids at 2:30 am when we left for the hospital.

Since my mom arrived she has helped take care of the kids even making Chad and I take a nap while she watched the baby, spent time with Ty and Isabelle - taking them to lunch and Trafalga, playing with them and as you can see in the pictures she was a trooper and played in Isabelle's "hut" with her. She made yummy dinners every night for us, cleaned, did our dishes and mopped my floor and vacuumed before company came over. She was our glorified nanny, chauffeur, chef, and maid... all with no complaints!!

I definitely enjoyed her company while I was lazy on the couch sometimes just enjoying lots of talking and watching TV! The kids were excited to be able give her her birthday presents and a Thank you card before she had to head back home... we are so grateful for her love and were sad when she left! Thanks mom!!
