Our Days...

Blogging has not been on my to-do list lately so here is a catch up post of all the summer excitement we have had!

We have enjoyed a few city celebrations watching several parades. One was enjoyed with wind and rain and the others with great warm weather minus Chad who was camping with the Young Men; however the kids had fun and brought home lots of candy! Isabelle loved waving to all the people especially the "princesses"!

The Miniature Float Children's Parade is my all time favorite - bonus the kids LOVE it! It just consists of creative floats from different wards, candy and cute kids!

We headed down to St. George for the 4th of July. We stayed at Chad's parents "vacation" home in Hurricane. The kids thought it was so cool to be in a new place with new toys and books, lots of places to explore and a big TV to watch movies on. It was a very quiet, relaxing 5 days resulting in a plea to stay longer but Bishop duties decided otherwise! ;)

While staying in Hurricane we spent time with my family. We celebrated Isabelle's birthday, went to a baseball game, played in a pool and slip 'n' slide, ate yummy food and knew it was time to go after kids were misbehaving!
