Under the Sea Mermaid Party

 This little cutie turned 5 on July 6th!

 The day started off with her favorite breakfast and then PRESENTS!  Her 2 favorites were her new pink hat from Ty and a doll which she named Emily Sparkles.  Her doll is with her constantly even sleeping next to her every night in her very own little bed we made from her box.  She changes her outfits, talks to her, sings with her and just loves her!  It was a perfect birthday for her!

 The day after her birthday was her first friend birthday party.  She was so excited to hand out her cute invitations that Daddy made for her.

We had sea creature sponges in the pool...

and a large blow up waterslide!  (Thanks to family for letting us borrow it.)

Mini cupcakes...

 star sugar cookies, suckers,

bubbles and fishy crackers.

 We had a fishing game which the kids loved and Ty liked being the one "behind the sea"! 

(due to the wind :( all my ideas had to be improvised - it made for a little unnecessary stress... being a perfectionist is not helpful at times!)

 Playing a sponge game... they were supposed to put the sponge on their head and then run to the other bucket but I have to remember girls don't necessarily like doing that kind of stuff! 

 She had 12 friends come so that meant opening lots and lots of presents... strawberry shortcake stuff, princess coloring activities, a tea set, games, dolls, princess belle and a cute mouse treehouse.

Her cute cousin Naomi who Isabelle loves... luckily she got to stay for several more hours to play and eat dinner!
